What have I been up to since I posted to my journal on Tuesday?

It remains hot and dry. Officially the temperature in the shade reached just over 28C - but when I was driving NYK home at 6.15pm the car was registering an outside temperature of 31C. As our usual summer temperature is around 21-22C we are all feeling the heat; remember our houses do not have air-conditioning - it is seen as an environmentally ( Read more... )

We have had a lovely day. It is D-d's birthday - and our Chief Minister announced that, as we have only 0 - 2 new cases a day now, rather than starting to ease the lockdown on Monday we could start yesterday. So it is fine for up to 10 people to meet outdoors now as long as we remain distanced in our own household groups ( Read more... )

This morning I made the how-to video to go with the paper plate and the piece of black paper that was in the children's Easter pack, as we won't be in Church at all this weekend.
